"Stay a little longer, beyond the first glance."

There is something quietly powerful about photographs that resist immediate explanation. They ask us not simply to look, but to remain—to linger a little longer, to notice what unfolds beyond the first impression. This issue of CuratedPhoto is dedicated to those moments of quiet discovery.

Across these nine featured projects, the photographers take us through very different worlds, yet they are connected by a shared sensitivity to what lies beneath the surface. From Irina Denisova's introspective fine art portraits to Olivier's meditative landscapes, from Gabi Steiner's moving documentation of life alongside cattle in South Sudan to Nick Dale's striking encounter with the wild, each body of work reflects a distinct way of seeing. Together, they remind us that photography is not merely about recording the visible—it is about revealing meaning.

This issue also celebrates the breadth of contemporary photographic practice. Documentary, conceptual art, portraiture, architecture, wildlife, and personal narrative coexist within these pages, each expanding our understanding of what

photography can communicate. While the subjects vary across countries, cultures, and experiences, they all share a commitment to thoughtful observation and visual storytelling.

As an independent journal, our greatest privilege is introducing photographers whose work deserves to be seen slowly and experienced in context. Every series published in CuratedPhoto is selected not only for the strength of its individual images but for the conversation those images create when viewed together.

Thank you for spending your time with us. In a world of endless scrolling, we hope this issue encourages you to pause, explore each story with curiosity, to not only to appreciate the finished photograph, but also reflect on the ideas and experiences behind it, and to discover the quiet moments that often reveal more.
